How to Add Books to Google Books

Consider adding titles to Google Books if you're an author with rights to your book or a publishing house that wants more exposure for your authors. People can read older digital books for free at Google Books. They can also buy digital eBooks or read excerpts and click links to bookstores to purchase physical books. Establish a Google Books account, then send in printed books or books in PDF format to add books to Google books.

Steps

Setting Up an Account

  1. Join the Google Books Partner Program at the website listed in the Sources section of this article.
    • Verify that you hold the copyright to the books you want to submit. If you are not the copyright holder--the author or publisher--do not attempt to submit books.
